That feeling of I am in the right place at the right time....

...was what I thought today as I walked into Williams Prepatory School in Dallas today before I meet with KC, one of the administrators and friend of a family friend! As if God was talking to me and through KC, KC made that exact comment as we toured the campus.  I am so excited about the possibility of going back to work full time but importantly excited about the possibility of working at this school with some awesome teachers, staff and children. Can you imagine going to work everyday and getting paid to love what you do, have fun doing it all while teaching children to be all they can be and to learn while there at school..  I so believe that we all have the ability to make this world a better place one day a time and just the hope of opening doors for children makes my heart wana burst with JOY.

I often wondered over the last year and a half why one door was closed, not just for me but for so many but with faith have trusted that somehow someway this would work out regarding my employment, house and just life in general.  Has it been stressful, yes on many days but in the end or what I hope is the end I can see why all these things have happened to get me where I am today.  I am always thankful to have learned something from an experience and with life know that it is how we react to these happenings that will make or break us.    If none of these things happend, I would not have subbed and found out I love teaching and working with kids.
What I didn't know is that my last 15 years of recruiting might play a part in what I can do at school with children.  Even more exciting is that KC mentioned a position in College Counseling, perfect!  Even so, whether I teach in the Primary School or High School, I am thankful that a school will give me an opportunity to teach without any experience.  I feel so passionate about teaching and know that I was right where I was supposed to be today.  RIGHT PLACE, RIGHT TIME AND RIGHT PERSON!!!!  Just makes me so happy and grateful God who would entrust me with so many awesome things such as being Demi's mom and working with children who want to learn and planting seed of encurageent of hope and place for these kdis to feel loved and cared about as well as helping them fulfill big dreams of going to college someday.  Love love love!

Big thanks to Scott Campbell for making this happen today for me and for believing in me enough to refer me today.  It is such a big world but so small in so many ways.  I have always felt like this as in my feeling that it takes a village to raise a child, my child.  so many reasons why I feel like I would be a good fit with these students and parents, lot of it personal and regarding my own challenges and triumphs as a mom, woman, parent, leader trying to do the best I can with what I have and the hand I was dealt.  I wouldn't change on thing with any of it and feel so blessed today.

Lately I have been praying that God would change me, not my circumstances as in the past....I know that He only wants great things for us even when we can't see that oursleves.

Praying that an official offer will be made and that I will have a contract next week so that I can look forwrad to the next chapter in our lives.

Now to enjoy the weekend and the celebration of being in the US.  We are really so blessed to live in a country where freedom is here for us to enjoy.  Thank you to all those who serve in the military so that we may enjoy being Americans today and this weekend!!
